Project evaluation and Viva -Voce shall be conducted at the end of the program only. There shall be University examination at the end of each semester. The external evaluation of the Project work is followed by presentation of work including dissertation and Viva-Voce.
There should be an internal assessment and external assessment for the project work. Project work shall be completed by working outside the regular teaching hours under the supervision of a teacher in the concerned department.
Every Program conducted under Credit Semester System shall be monitored by the College Council.Ĭomprehensive Viva-voce shall be conducted at the end semester of the program and it shall cover questions from all courses in the program. There shall also be a Program Project with dissertation to be undertaken by all students. In the fourth semester the colleges can choose 4 electives that will suit the needs of students there, from the electives specified in the syllabus. The program includes two types of courses namely Program Core courses and Program Elective Courses. A student may be permitted to complete the program, on valid reasons, with in a period of 8 continuous semesters from the date of commencement of the first semester of the programs. There will be one month semester breaks each in November and May. Odd semesters extend from June to October and even semesters from December to April.
